Would Sir Ridley allow some of the Prometheus music score/cues pay homage to the late great Jerry Goldsmith ?.....The original composer of Alien and sadly missed.
What I'm hearing in the trailer(s) seems to conjure up Goldsmith quite a bit.... for me anyway. The new stuff seems even more intense, like Goldsmith on steroids!

I bloody hope so as well, but I trust in Ridley that he knows what he's doing. When I first heard the music in one of the trailers that contained some sort of dubstep/grunge -ish elements I was a bit disappointed (as much as I love dubstep or grunge when it fits the purpose).
Still wishing for 2.5 hours, R rating and an epic score! Nothing is 100% official yet...or is it?
