How excited are you for Alien Earth Season 2?
Filming begins next month (May 2026) for the second season of Alien Earth and like last season, we're curious – how do you feel about it?
Season 1 certainly left the fan base somewhat divided, in true Alien fashion. Some loved the alternative take on the Xenomorph life cycle and relationships between the Star Beast and the new robotic Hybrids. While others thought the show went too far off the beaten path and added unnecessary controversy to the lore.
Personally, I'm cautiously optimistic, hoping Noah Hawley and producers took time to observe and listen to the fans so some course correcting can take place in Season 2. I didn't love Season 1, short of Episode 5 – which was basically an Alien homage anyway. I didn't care for the original material and felt the Xenomorph design and behavior was too off brand for the galaxy's most perfect, merciless killing machine. My hopes are that S2 will bring back the Xenomorph as a dreaded, unstoppable and unpredictable force, rather than an obedient companion to a child-minded robot.
