Poor old Ridley Scott he didn't have a chance to make the film he wanted, as Ms Vickers suscinctly pointed out to the "kids", if you have paid for this vehicle we would be dealing with your agenda but it's ours and your an employee.

its doing great business here in europe! it will get sequel(s), and Ridley wants to make them to tell the whole story himself, he was unhappy not being asked to do the sequel to Alien.

look at the years between alien sequals- lots yeah? The movies in the alien universe strike a chord in people, it might be years between films. but there will be more. If its 7 or 8 years people will be gagging for it.

The French wern't too keen, neither the Germans. Are you talking West or Eastern Europe and anyway, after the bloody Eurovision results, what have Europe got to do with taste come to that?
it has the 2nd largest opening day in france this year after the avengers.
the germans isnt getting it for weeks.
it is doing great in britain, and scandinavia...that is what i know..
oh and eurovision is ment to be silly...and sweden had the best song and won ;P
