who was the designer of the ancient writing in the movie? .> i would like to know how he or she came up with the idea of the alien writing on the walls etc?

It's inspired by ancient Sumerian script.

To me it did look summarian-like or cuneiform? to bad they did not subtitle translations of the wall writing that would be handy if they release the DVD
