"Prometheus" font

Do you mean this one (the numbers on the door)? [img]http://www.prometheus-movie.com/media/prometheus_still_07_david3.jpg[/img] I ran it through "What The Font" on Myfonts.com and it didn't find a definitive match. My guess is it probably is a custom font designed for the film. Might be tough to find out what it's called...

Is there any font for the temple writings/symbols?

Nice detective work MVMNT. Those looks close enough for sure. Any idea on what font they used for the IMAX Prometheus font? The one they used for the title fade in in the opening scene of the film?

My gut feeling is that it is custom made...

I'd also like to know if the font used for the Engineer's language is available anywhere. I tried a search but didn't have any luck finding one. I know I can draw it, using pics as references, but it'd be nice to have a font. :P :)

I think it's custom, based upon Sumerian maybe - anyone?

It seems to share the same lineage as a lot of sci-fi fonts, but there are some pretty distinct characters in the set. It looks like they used it on the exterior as well (the 05): [img]http://www.prometheus-movie.com/media/prometheusT_screencap14.jpg[/img] A different font for the "Prometheus" wordmark too: [img]http://www.prometheus-movie.com/media/prometheusT_screencap20.jpg[/img]

The word mark on that last shot was pretty roughly comped on top for some reason in the trailers. The one I really noticed seem to look somewhat disjointed from the actual ship

Korataki used in[i] Mass Effect[/i] looks close to the interior signage in [i]USCSS Prometheus[/i]. Some numbers and letters look different, but this is the closest I could find so far. [img]http://www.identifont.com/samples/typodermic/Korataki.gif[/img]

The typeface [i][b]Trivial[/b][/i] is used for various signage inside the ship and on various computer displays. (They use a mix of both the letters available from the uppercase and lowercase sets of the Trivial typeface.)
